black and white spinners
Did some practicing with Processing today. I wanted to work on my rotations and for loops. (The gif export was frustrating because I couldn’t get the right speed of the circles down). Anyways, you can find the code here. It’s very similar to some art that I found on tumblr but I can’t recall where I got it from.
Processing Random Landscape Generator || Rock-Bomber
So for an art class, we had to make a random content generator using Processing and so I made a landscape generator. The first 4 pictures are the landscapes I drew up as a complete set: tetris battlefield, glitch land, the city, and the desert.
I drew each part of the scapes on 6 separate layers, so when I plug them into the program, it puts them together in a random order making a unique or abstract landscape!
Nice way to try and kick out art blocks! I’ll add new landscapes from time to time to keep the excitement going~
The Official Bees & Bombs gif guide, because a few people have asked me how to make gifs in Processing.
numFrames is of course an int of your own choosing.
Happy giffing!
beesandbombs solution for Gif making. I get this question a great deal as well. Hope it helps.
Of course one can refine their Gif-making skills in photoshop as well. Lots of trial and error there, but you can get great results.
Design in Processing Sketch
Class : Printing Code
this is a gif i posted a few weeks ago. if you would like to make gifs like this, here is the processing source code.
note that a) i don’t write code which i intend for other people to read, apologies, and b) the code incorporates a fairly messy hack to get a motion blur effect.
enjoy!
